As we prepare to open the doors to Cleaver Baye Soap Company, I find myself reflecting on how far this journey has taken us — from quiet walks in the woods to wildflower-filled afternoons in the Kent countryside, always with my children and our ever-eager dogs by my side.

This dream began over fifteen years ago with nothing more than a basket, a field guide, and the joy of gathering what nature so freely offers. Back then, I never imagined those foraging rituals would become the heart of a brand — one built on love, purpose, and the power of seasonal living.

These past months have been filled with early mornings, handwritten labels, recipe testing, and prayer. I’ve been revisiting my original formulas, making sure every bar, balm, and botanical tea is safe, compliant, and crafted with the highest care. The process of preparing for launch has been humbling and beautiful — from safety assessments and certification to refining packaging that reflects our values: simplicity, integrity, and reverence for the earth.

There’s so much more to share — the scent of the first finished bar, the thrill of seeing our brand name printed for the first time, the way my children’s eyes lit up when they helped name the collections.
